piCture pOlish #9 // Vampire

Bonjourrrr !

Hellooooo! That’s it… Today is the last day of 9 weeks review of piCture pOlish! Well I admit I was used to this small Australian appointment… Fortunately I will be others that I will show you from time to time ^^. To end this review of swatchs, I had calculated well because in this week of Halloween, I come to introduce you THE polish of season: Vampire!

Vampire, at first sight I was not thrilled. But that was before! Once put on, it knew how to seduce me! Indeed it has a small thing which pleases me each time: it’s a jelly!!!! Yes now you know it, I adorrrrrrrrrre this texture. Thanks to this peculiarity, it is subtle in its color, sometimes dark, sometimes bright, it knows how to get the light and make it rather unique for a dark red. Its color? Bloody of course!!! But real blood, not some kind of movie ketchup ^^.

In brief, it’s a beautiful polish, perfect for autumn or when you want to have a very feminine style. We look a little and we talk again about its texture!

I took advantage of a sunbeam to make you photos on the edge of my window with my attractive Virginia creeper in its most beautiful period. (At the risk of my flask’s life, it’s high the 4th floor! Fortunately it hadn’t the same tragic end as Lagoon!).

Well, let us return to this texture! It allows you to play with your polish. Indeed, you can apply 1, 2, 3 or even 4 coats according to your desire of intensity!

On the other hand, I have to confess… as it is a jelly, it’s necessarily transparent and to be able to wear it in 1 coat and well it needs a nude base. Thus on my photo for the version 1 and 2 coats there is a nude base under, otherwise the free edge is visible.

The problem of these beautiful polishes is to make a nail art with them but how we are a week close to Halloween, I made a bloody spell! But soft ^^.

I played the white “stained with blood” accent nail, splatter way. For the technique: little bit of splatter (of projection of polish as here) and of dotting tool.
